This journey combines the elegance of Delhi, the magical waterways of Sundarbans, and the rich wilderness of Manas Tiger Reserve, offering a well-balanced wildlife experience with comfortable stays, exclusive safaris, and carefully planned travel logistics.
Day 1 Delhi
Arrive in New Delhi and meet your Trip Leader at the airport. You will then transfer to your 5-star hotel, check in, and relax until dinner. In the evening, we gather over dinner to discuss the plan for the following day and the exciting journey ahead.
Days 2–8: Sundarbans National Park
We begin early with a flight from Delhi to Kolkata, followed by a drive of about 3.5 hours to reach the mangrove region. From there, you will board a boat and enjoy a 30-minute cruise to the 4 star hotel, where lunch will be served en route. Once settled in, the next seven days will be spent exploring the remarkable mangrove wilderness and its waterways.
Boat safaris are exclusively reserved for our guests, providing an excellent setting for wildlife viewing and photography. Each morning, you will leave the hotel and spend the day exploring the waterways before returning in the evening. Breakfast and lunch will be freshly served on board, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable full-day experience in the wild.
Food at the hotel will include a multi-cuisine spread with Indian, Western, and Chinese options.
Days 9–15 Manas Tiger Reserve
After an early breakfast, or a packed breakfast if needed, you will depart the hotel and drive for about 3.5 hours to catch your flight to Guwahati. From there, continue by road for about 3 hours to reach Manas Tiger Reserve. Upon arrival, the rest of the day is reserved for relaxation at the lodge.
Over the next six days, you will enjoy two game drives daily — one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Accommodation will be at a wildlife lodge that hosts many international guests.
Jeep safaris will be conducted in exclusive small open safari vehicles with local guides and drivers.
Food will mainly include Indian cuisine, with basic continental dishes served occasionally.
Day 16 Delhi Airport Drop
After the morning game drive and perhaps an early lunch, you will leave Manas and head to the airport for your flight to Delhi. On arrival, you will be dropped at the international airport according to your onward flight schedule.
